peace

dusk arising

Lit by the flame
of newfound
peace within
the love I find.
I'm am led
step by step
into the light
where peace itself
heralds
each new dawning.

    you've just put words
    to what, all
    my accumulated dreams
    amount to..
    (what a wonderfully, realisable
    utopia
you paint, for us to strive towards)
    thank you! dear Poet

I guess I am lucky to have my situation. Now I must appreciate it before it changes. Peace feels great. Thank you LBM.

This is pure contentment, and that's a good place to be. Also, very comforting, and that's not bad either.

LOL I rejected christianity over forty years ago. Human beings are spiritual beings blue orchid. We have always been spiritual beings. Men created christianity and tried to convince us that there was no other way. Similarly men in other places created diferent religions. Organised religions were created and tailored througout their histories to control mankind. How do I know this.. because I have researched. I did not reject christianity easily.
But goodness, charity, caring and love etc existed long before anyone tried to create an organised religion. I listen to the spiritual nature of mankind within me and know some of it's rewards. I do not preach it, there is no need, nor do I try to convert others.
As regards love, I have long been in love with life and the world around us, nothing new for me in that. My poetry reflects this often, see 'gardens of hell' on 26th jan or 'within the depths of beyond' on 22nd jan.... see what you think of those.
