I have always loved you from the day I met you
You were one of my biggest inspirations
Now your gone
And I wasn't able to say good bye
Because I was putting my mental health first
I dont regret it
But I do miss you
I remember when my parents took me over to see you and we played with the funny glasses.
I miss you so much
My mom misses you even more
She is torn apart
You will be forever in my heart

Loss is one of the most difficult things to write about in my opinion. I can say this with experience as I lost my mother 3 years ago and it took me awhile before I was able to express what it felt like through poetry. Lovely poem, keep on fighting! 💖
