LIFE NEEDS A SONG

Harvey Falduto

I want to write a song

That never grows old

A song from the heart

Born from one's soul

A catchy little tune

To hum as you walk

That brightens the world

With notes of sweet-talk

Reminds us of Love

And all it can bring

Laughter of children

Two lovers, a ring

One that reminds us

When we were young

And all of the songs

That we once sung

Life sets the beat

Each and everyday

Make your song happy!

It will pave your way.

Nice! Some of the old Beatles, Bee Gees, Abba, Eagles, Elvis, etc songs are so memorable. I will now think of that 1 song - it will be my earworm!

Music is so important in life, and it certainly is in mine, I have been listening to it for seventy years.

Just been on youtube and heard you, very good Harvey. I am Chair of a Community Choir and two of the songs I have seen, "Bridge over troubled water" and " The wind beneath my wings" are two that we often sing and are rehearsing them both at the moment to perform at one of our choir members Golden Wedding Anniversary.
