Making Space

Draven

As more and more
piled ontop of her

everyday stress,
homesickness,
fear of the unknown,
and heartbreak,

The more space she seemed to have.

In a moment of silence and reflection,
she realised, she was not overwhelmed.

Even though there were many reasons to be.

And she smiled,
because she could remember a time,
not so long ago,
where that would not have been the case.

And she breathed in relief,
because that meant
that her time of suffering
was not in vain.
It made her heart more open
and her will stronger.

You pen that escape from the cage of stress so well dear Draven and your final four lines are so very engaging - - a verse to read over again when we falter with weight of heartbreak and now saved to my list of favourites

Sometimes you're better not over complicating things. That's why we throw stuff out early in the year, so we can collect new stuff, usually someone of the opposite sex, though not necessarly as relationships go. lol

Haha, what are you getting at here? 😛

You been hiding somewhere. Think I'm saying there's no such thing as a normal relationship any more, sure I read it somewhere. lol
