A dark forbidding tower haunts my restless dreams
beneath a still - greasy stain of blood red moonlight
where shaken fearful.. a bone crushed anguish
sinks it's steel taloned claw chill finger of despair
to tickle free a sly heartbeat or two from
any mortal foolishly afoot this forsaken soulless night
welcome ye now to this balmy coolness
the cold comfort of my shivvering fear
as behind me creaks closed that last door to sanity
and ragged edge of screams rip through eardrums to skewer my brain
whilst menace of shadows approach through the walls
ignore they sounds
as thee should not hear
and venture not out tonight
bolt thee doors tight
and sleep thee well

An incredible imagery flowed
And my nightmares came about
Literally gave me goosebumps
Nice play with words dear dusk
Nightmares are not nice .I’ve had bad dreams in the past and some are so vivid too .
We all want nice relaxing sleep and nice dreams )
a great, dreamscape of a read..

Creeping me out, your Gothic magic mushroom job - thanks for nothing...😁
