nobody understands

dusk arising

i know that i'm not your only man
i know that i'm not your ideal
but when we're together
i'm your special man
you let me know just how you feel

nobody understands
your deepest feeling inside
nobody understands
those things you need
then i'm your specialman
when your embracing me
and it's the time to be
just you and me

nobody understands
we keep it to ourselves
on the other side of town
our nights alone
you give me everything
for your sanity
something that we share
just cant be bought

and tonight it's got to be just you and me
the time we share together's  just insanity
it isn't love, it isn't lust, it's just insanity
when we're together somehow it just works
but you dont want me
and i dont need you
but it just works between us
don't ask me so many questions
cos i don't want to find the answers

nobody understands
no i don't understand
but when you call me up
the answers always yes tonite
with no demands
no broken hearts
but we understand, we understand
how we fit together
till the day we'll drift apart

    A moment of togetherness
A desire to carry those threads long
Unfortunately its sad it didn’t last long
That poetry made me nostalgic as it connected me when once we shared our insanity…..
