Lies and Life

Sharvari

Is this what is life?
A pocket full of warm, comforting lies.
I take out one lie
When all I can see is chilling ice,
And buy some more time to stay alive.

Is this what is life?
A moment of joy and lifetime of strife.
I take out one lie
When my hope flickers and dies,
And buy some more time to stay alive.

Is this what is life?
Endless emotions but elements five.
I take out one lie
When yin and yang seem alike,
And buy some more time to stay alive.

Life can definitely seem like one long dilemma with occasional "happy times." We just have to learn how to dance through the rain. Life will never get easier, so it's up to US to make the most of what we got. Great poem dear poet! 💖👍
