rewind

junia

the car light made the day

look darker than it was,

your dying hand had pressed 'rewind'

and all that we had given

we took back

and all that you had bought

we sold

so, all that had been here before

was gone by dusk approaching.

Wow I feel like there's such a deeper meaning to this poem that at the moment I just can't grasp but this was excellent! Kudos to you! 💕🌟

thank you so much! I try to write in a way that leaves room for interpretation without being too broad, so this means a lot!
