The Road

ModernBard

Let them take us right away

To see the One in charge.

We will meet One any day

One is still out at large.

We will travel with this crew

Through hills and valleys wide.

We will hike until we're blue

With bruises on all sides.

Do not deride the things I say,

As if they were all humor.

I know that life is not a play,

Despite all the rumors.

I felt that there was something missing. Its like, there wasn't a proper ending and it could still go on.

This was a nice poem! I like the wording and the brevity. Kudos! 💕🌟
