A three letter word that’s supposed to mean 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚘
But to me that word means something completely different. I didn’t grow up with a hero.
I grew up with a man constantly telling
me
Do better
Lose weight
You’re not enough
It’s your fault
The thing is though, even with all those words said to me. I still love him. He’s the man who gave me life, how could I not love him? Even if I was never enough for him. Even if I’m not loved by him. I still love him.

That’s really sad ! (( when we feel criticised by our own parents or feel invisible . I kind of understand .. it can really affect you can’t it ,
Take care
Thank you. It’s definitely been really difficult.
We should feel loved by our parents but sadly some parents don’t show enough love .. for whatever reason .. I’m sorry you felt like that .
Wow this was so touching. I totally feel your pain. I posted a poem about my "daddy issues" in my poem "My Silent Protest" and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. Keep on fighting love! 💖👍
Thank you so much. You keep on fighting too. We’ve got this🖤
A very touching poetry
But I am glad your not letting hatred ruin you
If other isn’t compassionate
We can continue to be
Even if one can’t be warm
The other can shine, and I am glad you can do that
Be the sun and keep smiling
Keep penning dear poetess
