I Had To Let Go

We are sisters.

We became friends in an unusual circumstance.

Soon afterwards we found out we were sisters ,from the same tribe.

We began to do everything together, that was our vibe.

I gave her a hundred , but she gave me less.

I couldn’t see what was coming my way.

We are best friends.

We suddenly stopped sharing secrets.

I’d still give a hundred and she still gave less.

It became a topic that needed address.

In down times she’d never ask what’s wrong.

She’d see me cry and leave the area.

We are friends.

She took advantage of me.

Made me feel insecure yet alone lonely.

Made me feel like she was my one and only.

Disappointed me more times than stated.

To make the friendship last I became quiet.

We are enemies.

I wished her bad in all that she did.

She played the victim to get many attention.

With contact there was toxic tension.

It soon began to affect my life as the burden got heavier.

I  felt it best to delete every thing related to her to be happy again.

We are strangers.
