Bending time

sorenbarrett

In a minute of reality

I spent years in a dream

Images ran by me

The time it would seem

approached close to infinity

as past me, my life did stream

Day by day, I did behold

So many people with whom I spoke

I watched children grow, and get old

from a sapling grew a mighty oak

Summers past and winters grew cold

Yet only a minute had passed when I awoke

That is quite frightening in a way, yet in a way it could just possibly be true.

Dreams are so elusive. It's nice to see your description of your own though. I enjoyed this one! 👏✨
