In my mind,
Everything is dark.
The flame of who I once was,
Simmered out long ago.
Put out by the blood of wounds,
Given to me by everyone I once loved.
In my mind,
I don't know who I am anymore.
Is this even my mind?
Or is it a mind thinking the thoughts,
That everyone else wants me to think?

I think this is as down as a person can get, yet people around still love you. Sometimes we need to understand our frailties before we understand our strength to recover.
Great poem! Definitely shows the fragility of life. We have to stay steadfast in what WE want for ourselves, the rest remain second. 💞🌟
