Save me, O God, now by your name

Name of endless worth and fame

Judge me by your strength, you righteous

So your people will you bless

 

Behold, God, He is my help sure

He is with me evermore

And He is with them that uphold

My soul, His people, His fold

 

Upon the Lord cast your burden

And He will sustain you then

He will never allow righteous

To be moved, but shall them bless

 

In God I will praise His word here

I will trust in Him, not fear

What man may do to me, whate'er

I in His protection share

 

For you have kept me from falling

Worship unto you I bring

Will you not still help me, so I

Shall walk in your light here nigh

 

My heart is fixed, steadfast to you

O God, you shall me renew

I will sing and to you give praise

My heart fixed on you always

 

Truly there a reward, there be

For the righteous, let them see

Truly God in the earth judges

He does help, delivers us

 

Enemies a net have prepared

For my steps, but I ill-fared

Shall not be, and the pit for me

That they dig they fall in,  see

 

I will sing of your great power

Aloud will sing every hour

For you, God, my defence have been

And my refuge, I have seen

 

So to you my strength I will sing
