A Single X
I note you often leave
A single x
upon my elsewise
Empty pages
but how I do so wish
I might
convey my need
for so
much more than just
a single
solitary kiss, until
get this,
the very end of days ..

I suppose you need to start with one kiss, and hopefully it will build up to more. In saying that, I'm thinking one kiss here is maybe one too many.
that first kiss is the one that is always remembered too, if my memory serves me correctly .. cheers Paul ........................................................ Neville 🙂
So good to have you back today Nev. and to read your welcome intriguingly worded verses again - - - the fortunate She will love this romantic appeal for more kisses and will surely agree - -- - - - but in the meanwhile I will leave more than my usual one hoping that these will suffice as a substitute 'til you get increases from your special lady - - - - - I love that final line by the way........ x...x
............... ah' that'll do nicely Fay ..... thank you kindly my friend .. x
Good write N.
Right good then Mr. O .. I O U one .......................................................................... 🙂
You’ve got me thinking - why is X used for a kiss? As Neil said X was given for mistakes. It’s still romantic.
it seems X has been used over time to variously indicate or signify many things, including the signing of ones signature & the marking of a particular spot or place .. all I can say for sure is that I am grateful that you called in today ............................... 🙂 x
That first kiss is always remembered Neville.

Don't it just Andy ............................ & thank you kind sir ... 🙂 Neville
