Goodbye

Alexander Pope III

Destiny asked us to meet

I never experienced  something so sweet

You gave memories to cherish a lifetime

Accept my Goodbye

I am blaming myself for the pain

Causing you so much strain

For you my tears became rain

After today loneliness and sorrow shall remain

Tell your friends

Of our love’s end

Glory to you , I do not have much to say

If you still love me , I am just a message away

Goodbye

I feel this poem. I believe it could also be applied to various figures in life; like a lover, a parent, or any other person who has loved you during life. This also reflects my post today. Sometimes we have to say "goodbye." Beautiful work! 💖✨
