I give it away

Poetic Dan

No I was not ready for resentment to hit the stage, even more so for the choices I alone had made.

Each moment to last a life time of only passed regret, but now I feel the need to clear this out my chest.

If not you'll find me sunken before my used by date, as the structure begins to crumble under the hidden weight

With my heart in my hand can I change this plan, to undo the wickedness that is smothering all I am.

To replace joy for the gifts I get to hold in my palms, letting the sadness be finished watering what should stand out with pride.

I send this to the universe and any trying to brave the changes in their own tides, may we give any guilt we carry over to the sun, moon and stars.

I definitely feel you have, as expressed in the poem, resolved something conclusively and are moving forward. Thanks for that, Dan - there's a lot of strength in there.

Emotive words Dan but you know you have the light within you, you have moved on so far in your life that this is just a blip that will soon be behind you.
