Tipping down

poetinme

Oh dear Mighty sky ! Go on with downpouring until I'm
drenched to the skin
Unleash the sea of buoyant spirits that you hold between
chest and chin
Let it end all my melancholy, all my regrets of loss, all my
delights of triumph
I keep my head high, let rain whip my face and wake me up
I keep an ear out, let rain whisper
That I must live and not just breathe
Let the magic touch of raindrops pacify in me the blubbering
Babbit and other wrongful deeds
Oh dear frolicking sky ! Go on with your music of rumbles
and roar
Go on with downpouring, downpour more
Let me slake my thirst of being an unshackled soul
And When the day comes, be generous and vast
Blow the valedictory wave, I expect you to look overcast
The day, the day I breathe my last !

Wow so powerful! A lot of emotion and imagery being conveyed. Hopelessness is what I sensed with the last line. But I know that there's more than meets the eye. Great job! 💖☮
