Fear Not The Ides...(+1)

Kurt Philip Behm

Don’t make the time,

take the time

—life inside the difference

(Warsaw: March, 2022)

...but not forgotten

Locked behind the doors of my heart,

good wishes sleep unsaid

Whose key I’ve lost and yet to find

…this lonely empty bed

With dreams undreamt and vacant nights,

the hours linger on

All hopes and tidings unfulfilled

—and feelings all but gone

    Kurt,

I can envision you taking ‘the time’…
sort of ‘taking the bull by the horn’.
Thank you for sharing these telling three lines.

        You’re most welcome.🤗

I’ve been giving this post a lot of thought.
And this thought is flooding my mind…
‘take the time to make the time’

Yes! I feel like there's no such thing as "the right time." The right time is when we decide to do something. Great poem!

        Kurt,

        “…but not forgotten”

        Wow…so powerful and heart-rending.
Your scripted words have deeply touched my heart with tears in my eyes.
