Turning Point

cheniseisme

I wanted to remember this day,

I didn't shed a tear

I had nothing to say.

I was tired and fed up,

With this manner of business.

I want to advance,

From my present circumstance.

Iḿ sure my vibes were clear,

I didn't fit in that atmosphere.
Never comfortable,

Refusing to settle.

Letting me go, helped me move on,

Made it easier for me to be strong.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Thanks for the opportunity

For a brand new start.

Thank you Father for doing

What was best for me,

Thank you for setting me free.

Yess!!! So beautiful! A moment of "let me let go!" So very well expressed. We all need unwavering firmness of our identity and our worth! Sometimes all we need is a supportive figure, like a father, to find that out! Great poem! 💖
