Youthful her days
in full bloom
wearing the tiara
tiara of dreams
the gown of vigour
and the heels of speed
she moved in full sway
Assisted by her state
holding the sword of peace
The book of liberty
as she reads
ramming the environment on screen
the managing of money in accounts
here goes away her teens
scarred are the feet
broken are the heels
torn the attire
blemishes with struggles on her sleeve
burning is the flame
the flame for survival
tiara which mounted
turned to be pricking
lost is her health
lost the book of liberty
in the myriad of ambitions
on a complex path
She holds the war on peace
louder are her screams
nothing;
but just a moment of breeze
to sway in full moon
dancing on her feet
the black swan on streets….

That lady of liberty gifted by the nation of France to a victorious North america. A great symbol of freedom through the years, now scarred with many sorrows where endeavor has met with disappointment and today do we fear disallusion as freedom itself is threatened with planetary destruction by yet another mad man.
Freedom is born of love..... let love prevail.
Well spoken sir
Very beautifully connected with the history
And another dimension was opened
The beauty of writing and reading poetry very well written
Thanks a lot dear Dusk for such a beautiful interpretation
What an amazing journey you have invited to take your readers on today dear spills .. a journey deceptively deep and dark and mysterious .. a journey that may be viewed in so many different ways .. the life story of a woman, a country or nation ........ of beauty and longsuffering and so many more things ........ a great and memorable poem as far as I am concerned .... Neville x
I am overwhelmed dear Neville…it’s a pleasure to get praised for the inked and much more when somebody takes interest to interpret the piece at its core…the beauty isn’t the poetry but those who read it….you truly justify “beauty lies in the eyes of beholder”
Thank you so much dear Neville
Good one, but very sorrowful to read ! Was it imaginary or implying any situation ?
It was an amalgamation
External always have the effect of stirring inside
What happens outside, often we start looking that inside as well
Maybe reflecting in ourselves
Maybe showing how dark the world is
And no denial it’s really dark in the world today
From pandemic to war
True Spiller, Life's tough times.
Tough times don't Last
But, Tough people LAST forever. !!
Nice eye depicting poem !! Wonderfully woven as usual !!
"The black swan on streets" What a message! This poem is so evolutionary as we're following this development of the tiara-wearing speaker. So lovely and the execution was glittering! 💖✨
Thank you so much dear Rocky
You saw a different version of the poetry
The evolutionary process
Nice perception
You have encapsulated the dark and painful time we are in. Stunning lines.
Thanks a lot dear Rozina
May darkness dispel soon
As I read,I couldn't help but think of what I heard in the news 2 days ago. They're saying "What's happening over there can lead to WW3." Your words can certainly be interpretated in many ways, but I think you've depicted the dark times we are in at the present time with pin point precision. Well exicuted.🕊🌞
Your right dear Fallenangel
It truly is dark days
I hope light shines soon
Thanks dear Fallenangel for stopping by
Always a pleasure Spills✌️🕊🌞
