The hypocritic

spilleronsheet

Sand dunes across the desert

the monsoon rains across the south east

the insanity of tyrant

the so called well wishes

And the bows without arrows

are nothing but only letters

without spirits

like a flip

she moves across the statements

in her heart

she covets the strongest resistance

but overtly a sweet smile

in her hypocritical  mind

One goes crazy overnight

as a cliffhanger

Lie at tenterhooks

who cares about how one looks

who cares about how you feel

your nothing but empty words I see….

A message to the hypocrites. It's a façade that is drawn-out and overused. Everything will eventually come to light! Great use of imagery and the lines are filled with purpose! 💖💖✨✨✨

    • spilleronsheet

You saw through my thoughts dear Rocky….thanks for reading under the lines…

    • dusk arising

Well I think you weighed me up rather well in this piece. Though i have been assured many a time that duplicity is my fine point.

      • spilleronsheet

        Thank you so much
But I don’t think I can match up to the perfection of your words dear Dusk

      • Rozina

Hypocrites abound. They say things to make themselves look good, but do something else entirely. Cannot be trusted. Very real.

        • spilleronsheet

Sure it is. Dear Rozina, life is colourful with all creeds of humans. Many may be cruel but atiwadi few will be kind enough with no double face.

the fact they exist at all does not sadden me .. the fact that there are so many of them saddens me as does the fact that we are the only species on the planet that behaves in such a way ............................nice one spills .............................. Neville

          • spilleronsheet

A very thoughtful answer dear Neville….looks like, just like me you have surely met a few hypocritics…but its alright, and much better if they were exposed…

          • Paul Bell

There is nothing worse than shaking the hand of a dickhead, but sadly at some point we're put in a position where we need to grin and bare it.
As long as we can still think bad thoughts of them.

            • spilleronsheet

That’s the most practical answer i assume….rather to be always victim, why not be witty to give those who deserve the dirt that they deserve….

            • Vamsi Sudha

              Dear Spiller !!
Hypocrites punish themselves, a turmoil which they can't express but face with a sweet smile. Its better to be transparent and face the challenge than being hypocritic. Dare the truth , and you Win !! As usual magic of words by you 🙂

              • spilleronsheet

A beautiful and a compassionate comment dear Vamsi
A hypocritical is both bad for others as well for themselves
A criminal as well as victim
Thanks for giving me this perception
I won’t hate the hypocritics now

                • Vamsi Sudha

Wonderful, be sober with them as they are punishing themselves !! You got me right 🙂

                • sorenbarrett

Wonderful images, although the overt message of hypocrisy is clear it seems that this poem is far deeper. The madness that it brings and the emptiness that surrounds it.

                  • spilleronsheet

Thanks dear reader for diving deep inthose lines
Looks like you could reach near to the bottomless spine
The world of hypocrites that bejewel

                  • Thejaswini

                    Great one! 🙂
