It’s the knowing what once was
that really hurts the most isn’t it darling
Spent beauty sucks don’t you think
No more long hair maybe
but not a single bald patch anywhere
Same old blue jeans though ..

Time was back in the sixties when we all wore denim jeans and denim jackets, faded of course. A look I still admire and have the clobber to prove it though, just as you suggest, one doesnt strike the same presence as all those years ago. now where did I park my Lambretta.

Wot flares? Do try to hang onto them just a little longer.... they will be back... not that I'll be wearing them ...as impractical as those tight ankle jobs that are still around now....

I remember my first pair of flares .. but then dont everyone .. my granny bought em from the Bullring in Birmingham ................. I was such a short arse, they had to be turned up so much that when finished, it looked & felt like I was wearing a pair of long shorts ............................. Cheers N 🙂

Spent beauty.... sigh! Hair dropping, wrinkles appearing, age spots increasing, muscle tone losing, new dentures, height falling, but can still fit into those old blue jeans!
