I may not of celebrated that day but I can say this, I'm grateful to each one I've come into contact with
Never seen an indifference all emotions driven by the core, seeing individually how darkness won't stay at their door
With much passion and grace never failing to embrace, to most beings on this planet they continue the race
It many take two To tango but without them life would lose its name, that's why naturally we should hold their flame
The brighter they burn the more we all gain, letting love take over the rest of the way.

- Comment from author about the poem: I read some wonderful poetry for yesterdays International womens day. As I started to write I could feel an old pull that still finds it difficult to live in forgiveness with my own mother. She done the best she knew how and at least gave me this life to live, knowing how to connect with the struggle in another human being. To her and many others let no man keep that light dim, if they don't see your greatness they ain't worth keeping.

I think this is a wonderful tribute to ladies everywhere, thank you for sharing, dan!!
I do my best in words although my actions sometimes let me down....
Ooo should of gone with that lol
Thank you for being one of many who have a great shine.
The pleasure is All mine!
Thank you for saying I have a great shine. Means a lot!! (I just needed that today 🙂 )
If not for you I'd never of written the rhymes I got tattooed on both arms. Remembering to "enjoy the journey while you're here, live in love let go of fear"
So have no doubt we all have bad days but when I get lost in the darkness of helping others handle nature at it worse, I reflect out of that tunnel from souls like yours...
Have a wonderful day
I do have that poem favorited where you got your arms tattooed. Thanks again for such an uplifting reminder! I will start writing again soon.....

But I guess all the poets did justice to the special day
You as well inked the words of gratitude and love for the world so well dear Poetic Dan
