I get up in the morning
Switch on the radio
And there plays the music
A magnificent piece
So tuneful and wonderful
A great start to my day
And the announcer then says
Says I all for me
“What better start to the day
Can we have by listening
Listening to Schubert

Phew! Lucky he didn't say Stockhausen. You would have gone back to bed! or thrown the radio out the back door!
Very true Orchi.

I love the conductor's who lose themselves
in their passion for the music
than merely
their strive for perfection...
just watching their showcasing of emotional resonance
with each note
makes me believe, and surrender
my insecurities
that stem from my uncultured reality
and classical music's air of self-importance...
that's why, till the very end
I'll strive to nurture 'an ear'
for True music..
(a lovely video
and soothing words, Andy
for us who cherish
the solace
music, gifts our lives)
Thank you Mek, yes you can get totally lost in music when performing from your heart.

You started that day!? lol.
A morning without music is like a morning without sunshine. My dawn walks are always accompanied with music from my phone and it is always the best start to my day. Thank you for reminding us what music can do for us.
Thank you Bella, my early morning walks are accompanied by Nature's Symphony which can be so fulfilling.

A tuneful fart greeted the throwing back of the quilt - Mahler i do believe! Or was it the opening trumpet blast of Scheherazade?
Well it takes all sorts of music to start our day d a.
