Tune: Sagina

('And can it be')

John 2 v.1-12

**********

Marriage in Cana, Galilee

Jesus, Mary His mother, see

Were there invited, disciples too

He would provide for them wine new

Supplies ran out, calamity

But a miracle, sign would be

Supplies ran out, calamity

But a miracle, sign would be

There filled six water-pots of stone

Jesus' word spoken, it was known

To fill with water vessels at hand

They set to it, obedient band

Then Jesus said, Draw out now, bear

It to governor of feast, share

Then Jesus said, Draw out now, bear

It to governor of feast, share

The governor had tasted sure

The wine that was water before

He not knowing from whence it was

But servants who drew knew the cause

He said to Jesus, Every one

Sets forth good wine first, what this done?

He said to Jesus, Every one

Sets forth good wine first, what this done?

For You Jesus have kept good wine

Until later, 'tis best and fine

So this miracle done, glory shown

By Jesus, it was seen and known

And His disciples there believed

On Him, and His blessings received

And His disciples there believed

On Him, and His blessings received

I can't recall this happening at my wedding to KP. We had only a little wine. KP spent most of the money for the reception on botox! (I am cruel. lol).

Haha, the best wine is of Jesus, his blood is wine and flesh is bread, eat and drink of His blood and flesh, and we will never thirst or hunger again, I don't know about you,but that's the only nourishment I need

Thanks Blue. You living on (physical) bread too? Though Jesus says man shall not live on it alone. Some wags add: 'Nope, we need water too'. There is that too!
it's my own fault, being eccentric - I married KP (Katie Price) one Halloween. It had to be that day. You'll soon see her, if you see UK news or newspapers. She's there, oh, nearly every day on her ego trip.

        • Crowns4Christ

          Haha, I will Google her,
Bread water regular food, but mostly have a hunger for God's word.
Halloween, huh, I guess you made a bad holiday,a good one,

She's an actress right, what was she in

            • orchidee

Oohh, she's in everything!! Even for drink-driving. She don't mind, as long she is in the papers yet again. It's scandalous.
I'm horrible to her. heehee. I don't recognise her now with Botox. Looks like an old trout! lol.

              • Crowns4Christ

                Haha,but you love her anyway

                • orchidee

I had to marry on Halloween - the darkest day, all went wrong, etc, etc. We did not have much of a Reception. She spent most of the cost on Botox! lol.

                  • Crowns4Christ

Haha, she wanted to look her best for you Orchi

                    • orchidee

I never see her 95% of the time now. She's either in the papers, in a film, or some photo-shoot! She never stops her ego trips. lol.

                      • Crowns4Christ

What is one of her films,I will watch it

                        • orchidee

I don't know really. I just read of them in passing - then forget them! lol.

I suppose you still put water in that wine!!

                          • orchidee

Thanks Gold. Ahh yes, I did! I'm the one responsible for turning the wine back into water. heehee.
