Saline Songs
Ground shakes
as massive breakers force reverberation.
High-boom
cracks granite's face by continual spume.
Waves race
over fall-gradation as crashes accelerate.
Liquid tunes
rebound into groundswell as sea infuses.
Water weight
grips and trapped air sighs in anticipation.
Before long
tide ebbs to ready for more saline songs.

one could very easily drown in these words ........................................... and salt of course is my only remaining addiction .................................... x
Good write Fay.
The rhythmic crash and flow of the waves and the tang of the salt all there, Fay.
That's St Michael's Mount in the picture , isn't it? Might have past you by very close, many moons ago.
A song filled with power, love and beauty. Wonderful as always.
A fantastic coastline as described by your poem.
Beautiful words and place to be Fay.
