Finite Soul

Carmine

In essence I feel it wither and fade from within

what a hopeless thought to deny and fight towards

as the scriptures shout in the pages about the decay

I can only transform and forget when it all starts over

an endless universe with mortal souls that dance around

even the skeletons start cackling and screeching

but until that final destination arrives I'll abide by the rule to live.

Wow this was deep. Your words were felt and the poignant images you portray are real and direct. Very well done!
