I’ve come to this wonderful place
Where no one has ever seen my face
Where they welcome here with open arms
A refuge from life’s daily storms
It is a place where new friendships form
And old ones abide so sweet and warm
Where words are valued and given flight
To reach the heavens where they burn bright
These wordsmiths always find a way
To brighten each and every day
With beautiful words and delicate phrases
They encourage each with heartfelt praises
It is to this place I’ve found my way
On what I consider my lucky day
A place where I may safely abide

You gotta watch out for my (imaginary) dog, Fido, though on here. He barks fiercely at anyone not marking poems 18+, if they should be so marked! Also, watch out for my singing on here. I'm the world's, or MPSs, worst singer, so I say.
