Freedom was all I ever wanted,
But then you chose yourself for me to depend.
You leaded the way and marked the path,
A direction that which I'll never pass.
I followed orders and every command,
Cause if I don't, I would be banned.
Though I fail your way sometimes,
But believe me, I hardly tried.
Accepting what was given by your choice,
You really thought that I would rejoice.
A little happiness to a part of me,
But not completely because I'm not free.
I was totally confused and messed up,
Got so tired cause I've had enough.
You gave me the life I never needed,
Full of hardships and couldn't beat it.
I felt stupid during times of falls,
Blaming you when about to crawl.
I feared you way of life,
Acting cruel like you're holding a knife.
It was difficult for me to say a word,
Cause you would always jump out to disturb.
I couldn't speak and stand up for myself,
Coming out of a box would be a 100 bounds.
Silence and Patience became my lifestyles,
A source of armor to fight the trial.
Anger covered the blindness from within,
But don't worry, I believe that by your way I'll win.

'I feared *your* way of life,
Acting cruel like you're holding a knife.
It was difficult for me to say a word,
Cause you would always jump out to disturb.'
try to focus more, on the bravery
that penned these words
than, that natural fear
in a situation, where
other's chose to utilise aggression
as their coping methodology
in times of heated exchanged...
thanks for sharing, a good read!
