Larger than life summers

Alexander Pope III

Sun is getting so bright

But you are still not in sight

Look at my plight

From this world, I will catch an early flight

The grass is getting green

But your face is still a dream

I don’t know your team

Am I out of your summer scheme

Days are getting long

But my sorrow is strong

What about your promise of loving me lifelong

I am forced to listen to a sad song

The wind is getting warm

I don’t see under your head  my arm

You are willingly inflicting upon my heart a lot of harm

It is time for me to raise the alarm

What you do on a sun-soaked day

You are not the one to pray

You also do not go outdoor to play

Strange are lovers born on a summer day

The day you will cut cake I will be by the sea

under the crocodile bark tree

And I am gonna surely miss you

But I will not stay in same city , if I can not kiss you

I will build a castle along the sea

And ask sea waves their view

I will not be in the online wishing queue

In the company of Suntory whisky, my sadness will subdue

In hot summer sea breeze

Your memories will tease

Love is less of fun and more of a disease

In summer, you are more difficult to please

I will wait for clouds to fly

And dominate the sky

Raindrops will be my spy

To touch your body I will try

Your lazy summer days will surely end

A day only with you I want to spend

Not a whisper of any friend

All our daily routines to remain suspend

In case the summer extend

I will be given an extra dividend

12-hour online chat on the weekend

So that I don’t miss you before yearend

You are my greatest adventure in life

Out of 8 billion, you are the only one of my type

My feelings for you I don’t want to hype

I know our summers will be larger than life

I love this hopeful and optimistic tone. I also enjoy your imagery. This was great!
