Maybe Someday

praneeta

Tell me the jokes,
Good and bad ones,
Tell me the smiles,
You earned in a day
Maybe someday,
I won't be here,
To laugh with you....

Hide with the shadows
And seek with the suns,
Run with the wind,
And Jump through the water,
Maybe someday,
I won't be here to play with you...

Tell me the poems you like to sing,
Tell me the songs you love to humm,
Tell me the fables you sleep listening,
Maybe someday,
I won't be here,
To recite it for you....

Maybe someday
I would be watching you,
From the heavens,
Smiling with your laughs,
Crying with your tears,
Maybe someday,
I won't be here,
And gone for the better place....

Maybe... someday....  ❤️

    wholehearted & beautifully penned
I too believe in being realistically prepared about our physical death, many folk fear this true reality, thanks for sharing!

A truly graceful expression of love. One day we're all leaving the world, it's inevitable, but the way you described your "farewell" to the ones you love is so precious.
