Going down on her like that
I’m quite sure
we both found oblivion
and have since each
realised, it’s not such a dark
place after all ..
Don’t worry though .. and
welcome to my
light she said .. Oh’ by the way
I’m only here
to undertake the healing of a
very broken man ..
Nothing more than that my friend ..

I've reversed the roles a couple of times but never met (yet) one so obligingly caring.
Initially i thought you were going to be writing about a boat (first six lines).

I’ve read your penned words a few times…very interesting. My take on this is that your poem is not about a man and/or a woman at all. Depending on the reader, a poem may have many interpretations. More often than not, your poems do lend themselves to that.
