CLOUD

By

Ray Finch

I’m a fluffy white cloud floating high in the sky

The people below me are like ants passing by

Made of the vapor that comes up from below

Where am I heading I don’t really know

The winds that blow me, often change their minds

As I link up with others and grow my waistline

The heavier I get I then start to fall

As my mood darkens now here comes my squall

Rain sleet and snow now falling down

Some in the oceans or on baron ground

But wherever I fall I won’t be forlorn

Because one day I know, I will be reborn
