-A Poet knows-

dean langmuir

A Poet knows

The dragonfly

The butterfly

The nymph

They do not know

if the wings

of their write

will flutter

when they're touched

Wow. I love the shortness of this piece and it's message. I feel this one is a metapoetic piece and it rings true to every poet. We aren't ever 100% sure if our writes will "take off" like we intended.

Thanks for reading Rocky,it always feels good if there's a flutter, you take care.

So true,we have no idea how our work will be interpreted or perceived,we just hope to inspire others to share their hearts or change their mind, that is all that I can hope for, great piece Dean
