God's canvas

Crowns4Christ

Colors of the world are as beautiful as can be,

God has made them for you to enjoy and for me,

The world is God's canvas and the colors are His paint,

The vileness that develops, the colors,it cannot taint,

He paints the Earth, with browns, greens and blues,

Putting the utmost care into His work, making the perfect hues,

The world is God's canvas, and we are His masterpiece,

He painted us in His image and our beauty will never cease,

Because God loves us so much,we have all been perfectly made,

And His love for His creations, will never, ever fade,

Next time you're out and about, take the time to look around,

At God's canvas of the world, and His true masterpiece will be found

    ... and if you stop to see his beautiful art,
    you'll notice it shone right from the start.

    I know this is not a fusion, my love, but I had to write it. I'm sorry. It just came to me. That is how much I like this poem.
    Persistence is key

          I do not know if you have read this poem but it is one of my favourites:

          When Earth's last picture is painted
          Rudyard Kipling.

          When Earth's last picture is painted and the tubes are twisted and dried,
          When the oldest colours have faded, and the youngest critic has died,
          We shall rest, and, faith, we shall need it -- lie down for an aeon or two,
          Till the Master of All Good Workmen shall put us to work anew.
          And those that were good shall be happy; they shall sit in a golden chair;
          They shall splash at a ten-league canvas with brushes of comets' hair.
          They shall find real saints to draw from -- Magdalene, Peter, and Paul;
          They shall work for an age at a sitting and never be tired at all!

          And only The Master shall praise us, and only The Master shall blame;
          And no one shall work for money, and no one shall work for fame,
          But each for the joy of the working, and each, in his separate star,
          Shall draw the Thing as he sees It for the God of Things as They are!

            But. woe, what about the aberration that is KP? Well, she was OK when He made her. It's the 10 tons of Botox that's made things ghastly! It will all droop and sag, and I will swoon then! lol.

                This is such a lovely poem! I love your line: " The vileness that develops, the color, it cannot taint"
                I also liked the line: "The world is God's canvas and we are his masterpiece." I felt so serene reading this. I love it! Happy Easter weekend!
