Was it a dream?

the dance between sapphire and turquoise squeal in sequins

reminiscence of lighthearted movement

shadowed by the depth of the indigo ocean spring

drowning in the unforgettable memory of lust

the teal muse of fantasies written speech

flexible shapely feet

float your way through your sheer blue transparency

etching words in the minds eyes

like it's chiseled in stone on the bank of the beach

kissed by the sea

buried within the sand of longing

each wave of azure that drips from my eyes

crashes... chipping away at the image of moving

distorting the words of what was once spoken

fading behind the grey clouds of the ghostly spirit

suspended in the time of what once was...

... but now can never be...
