  • Comment from author about the poem: The inspiration for this came to me as I was watching a more recent war film. I could never take orders without question. Sometimes it really is hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. Didn’t they used to wear black and white hats to determine who was who? Let’s go back back to simpler times🤪

    I can guarantee that you take orders everyday without realising it. The trick is to recognise the stupid ones and avoid them haha. Great poem.

      I’ll acknowledge I take orders everyday,nobody goes through life without taking orders. But in life we often have the opportunity,even the right to question them. But when you’re a member of the arm,navy,airforce ect,ect,you just say “Yes Sir” and obey,or else. I think you’ve missed the point of my message here. But thanks for the comment. Cheers🍻✌️

          Ok well if that what says to you then great. But the inspiration for this came to me as I was watching soldiers take orders without question in a war film. Something I just feel I’d never be able to,I’d be court marshalled,and given a dishonourable discharge. Lol 😂 cheers🍻🕊🌞

              Difficult? How does one’s mind not be curious as to why? And the most two important questions,..who benefits and at who’s expense. Nope!! I’d definitely be court marshalled and dishonourably discharged. “Your too much trouble kid,get outa here”😂😂
