Imprinting

kitty the naughty poet

It was a lot more than love

when I first looked into those wolf-like eyes

it was more like invisible threads

weaving through space and time

sewing your essence to mine from a single smile

imprinting two hearts as one whole

be the gravity that keeps me bound upon the earth?

be the electricity that runs through my veins?

I would do anything... be anything for you

a bright golden light in the darkness

shining through the shadows and protect your mind

be a lover and hold you through the night

bringing the hot and heavy dreams to life

or a friend who laughs with you when needed

showing the neon technicolour

of reality with you by my side

It's Kitty - she's on fire. Will she burn up?! heehee.
I never get too 'hot'. Fido's ready to chuck buckets of cold water over me. He can't have hotness, or ardour, or passion! Well, a bit, yes. lol.
