Some of my responsibilities just got on a plane, hundreds of miles a little past Spain
As her fingers wrap around my thumb one last time, the last treasured diamonds sprinkling from my eyes
May the best of my strength always be with you my child, with courage to be bold and forever stay wild
In moment to moment adjusting to unforgiving and forgiving atonements, letting time pass us by or ride to fly
Everything I wished has now come to life, hopefully this is the part where I finally stay in the light
Using all the darkness to keep writing my next lines.....

- Comment from author about the poem: I know it's been a wee while but I've been so booked up with dogs and now even more as the wife has gone back home to Portugal(2 weeks). To let Maarii meet her last living great grandmother and she's the first Granddaughter.....obviously I'm emotionally struggling but that's why I write, for this space is mine to put everything right..... ha! Think I'll keep that... always appreciate your time with much peace and respect, I read every comment but normally have to many thoughts to reply.... a strangely beautiful mind I have lol

You know .. darkness can be turned into light and we can move through some of our feelings just by writing . Or atleast a little . It can be healing , I find

Boom.... you got it my friend this was written a couple of days ago and today is a wobble but I've left the dogs at home and come to the beach on my Todd....
The sea is so calm and the sun is hot, the universe definitely heard me and not a soul in sight

Nature can be so healing ! I’ve not been to the beach in ages .. but I love being near water .. been to a lake a few times again recently and it’s nice to see all the ducks ..

This is a really beautiful write dan! Its so natural to have these feelings when your loved ones go away for a while. I was only in New Orleans for a long weekend, 4 days and I missed my kids. Stay positive!!
On the beach alone with the springtime - a healing time Dan for the inner you. The space where you are reminded of who and what you are in the universe. A time of validation.
Imperfection rules our lives, every one of us but we can walk tall in company because we are far more than our imperfections and we have the right of creation, the nature which created us - me and you - to stand tall, to be all that we are.
Stay off the booze LOL.
