Your mind, is a well oiled machine, 

maybe, so well oiled that, 

the gears start to slip. 

You forgot to check the the bolts

oh my god!

You can oil a machine as much as you want

but, if you don’t make sure it’s 

grounded.....

Your mind keeps getting slicker, 

going faster than ever before, 

eventually, it happens. 

the day you knew was coming. 

you chose to ignore it

    An amazing metaphor. Very true message, without proper care of mental health we can "slip" into attacks and breakdowns. A great poem!
