"due five days ago"

empty vial

my teachers,

they expect so much of me,

more than i could ever do

the dried tears planted on my face

after hours and hours

of staying up late,

and the constant feeling that i'm behind work

my teachers,

why do they assign so much?

the sleep i lack-

it's now measureless

i get back from school

only to sit back down,

grab my pencil,

and bawl my fucking eyes out

it's as if i were doing

all of this for nothing

So relatable though. I'm literally responding to this as I'm in a school Zoom meeting, I'm doing it virtually. I have like a gazillion assignments just pending my attention. Hope to graduate!!

      fr!!
it's like teachers know students are stressed because of the exams coming up, and they give us more assignments..
hope you graduate, as well as i hope i graduate, too!
      have a good day, Rocky

Dude. You guys have got it so much harder than us oldies. There is just waaaaayyyyyhh too much pressure to succeed and as you point out, for what in the end? Really good expressive poem EV

yeah, there's just too much pressure,
but i can't do anything about it i guess..
              thanks, SC!
