Squeaky 28

Only before and after

Remaining in the memory

Filling in the gaps

To make the story yours

For someone else to know

That you are one of many

But you cannot see

The inside of their lives

Through doors that are always closed

And all the mirrors lost

Cameras that never were

Filming inside a dream

Of sunspots and moonbeams

Caught in negative relief

The signature of time

A reversed silhouette

Moving through each scene

To nullify the chaos

Silenced by the ticking clock

So the words never spoken

Are still waiting to be said

Heard as the thoughts of others

Their origins long departed

No uniqueness here

Maybe over there

Where we cannot see

Cannot even guess

And the mistakes keep reoccurring

The lessons never learnt

However many futures come

Welcome to MPS! You wrote in such a way that captivated my interest. I hope everything's okay. It felt a little gloomy but just know there'll be better days. Learn from the mistakes and push on!
