Seasons

Winter

Snowflakes are quiet

heaped everywhere in silence.

White noise never heard.

Spring

Green shoots through topsoil:

the opening troupe in Spring’s

parade of color.

Summer

Burning sand on feet

welcomes shoeless visitors.

Cooled in bracing sea.

Autumn

Mountaintops exhibit

fire in the valleys below

through treetops’ flaunting.

indeed, four of the very finest .. each one needs more air time and to be noticed for what they are .. I hope many will now follow in the wake I purposefully leave behind ..

Thank you, Neville. Just my perception of the seasons at the time I wrote this. Constantly changing
as are the seasons and life.

        'Winter

        Snowflakes are quiet
        heaped everywhere in silence.
        White noise never heard.'..
        that's so elegantly worded
        just a wonderful read
        thank you, dear Poet

Thanks LB. There have been winter's here that were just the opposite, very noisy and dangerous.
