spaces

geekslutnerdgirl

i think i heard you laugh

once

like angels.

i have hummed myself

to peace

just remembering the way everything was

back upon the day

when you held me up

and you almost choked

just to save me for

something more

beautiful

because you swore

that life could give

something worth

staying for.

something extraordinary.

so i waited.

evened my breathing

by pacing myself

with you

so i wouldn't slip

outside the spaces

where you could keep that promise

Wow this hits deep. The "cracks" or those "spaces" in between promises, I never really pictured it like that. This is awesome.
