Mind-Food.
Ended the dream yet
its memory lingers
in treasured regret-proof
coats of repeat.
My best sleepless mind-food
tastes again two.
Need brought us together
and love felt good.

I guess that once tasted the flavour of the sweetest honey haunts the palate.
Odd then that we are hesitant to open one of those lovely looking jars upon the shelf.
Oh but that sweetness... maybe one day.
Maybe the gladness of new dreams will come your way my D.A. and wish you the best of sweet tastes when it happens.
made me hungry all over again so ya did & I've only just had breakfast .... you are just so damned good at this game our Fay ............ N x

simply Brilliant, dear Fay
words and image
combine, to deliver Poetry
far more
than the sum of its
4-3 off beat, symmetry
or 30 words of insightfully, succinct
eloquence!
Really appreciate how you regularly comment on my efforts and so very eloquently dear friend - a double big Thank You for all your support.
Mind food also means no calories. So it gets my vote!
Ha - I never gave that a thought when I wrote it Sax - a lesson learnt when these days and sleepless I feel like a sweet chocky drink instead of thinking of love. - well sometimes at least.
These lines full of meaning are written so elegantly Fay.
Thank you sincerely Rozina.
Love certainly does taste good Fay and may it forever be that way.
Andy
Agreed wholeheartedly dear Andy.
Love that feeds the mind as well, is love that whose depth is unfathomable. Thanks for having shared this poem, Fay. /Rik.
