Before color n photoshop

Those black and whites,

holding time in place

Those features etched,

in shades of grey

I sigh!

Alas!

Remembering those not here

and more, for the memories

of times gone by

Encapsulated in those photos,

even through faded images,

a moment, an event unfolds,

a story told

Someday, someone,

will rummage through,

their old, frayed photo album,

reminisce and smile

I often go through our old black and white photos too, family members no longer around. Our children and grandchildren will see us in colour I guess. A really good read, thank you.

So true Suresh those black and white photographs bring such fond memories.
