A Letter To An Angel Named Ruby

DestinysPerspectives

Dear sweet Ruby,

I know you will never read this because you are not here anymore.

Yet I know somehow through a mirror in the sky you are reading this as I write these words.

Maybe you are guiding the words in this letter?

What I do know is that in a short time your impact has echoed through so many lives.

What I do know is that your final poem of hope despite a bleak journey has shown so many that all is never lost beyond the dark clouds.

What I do know is that you have redirected so many souls onto a new path of healing others who have suffered a similar path as yours.

What I do know is that you left this world shaking up so many lives in the best way possible.

You reminded them of the souls that are as bright as the stars in the sky that need help to fend off the darkness like the night sky that wishes to devour them whole.

I have so much gratitude that I had the honor of knowing you in this life.

I hope when we meet next it won’t be short but a lifetime of catching up.

I don’t know how you held so much strength but you made it through and the man in the sky has now rewarded you with eternal peace by your father’s side.

We will all miss you!

I guess this is goodbye until we say hello again.

Such a warm and heartfelt poem Destiny. It still tugs at my heart to know that I had the chance to talk with her. You were lucky to know Ruby. I know her memory still lives on.

Thank You! I know Ruby appreciated everyone who reached how to her. We all helped her on this site by expressing kind words to someone who was lost in a dark space. We reminded her that she was not alone. Her memory will live on through this site, her poems and the memories we shared whether short lived or long. You are a kind soul. Never stop shining your light.

So sad that she lost her life at such a young age .. unfair . A warming caring writing , destiny ))

Yes I agree. She is at peace now with her father. I wish things could have been different and she never endured the life she did. I only knew her for a short time and I can say is despite the dark events she still kept her innocence and beautiful heart. That takes so much strength and it's so easy for people to become like their abusers. But she didn't. At the end of this I am glad she is in a better place where she doesn't have to suffer anymore. In her final days she had so much pride knowing that she took a stand for the first time by reporting the man who hurt her. She told me she had never done that before but she found strength in all of the people who supported her including those on this site. She is an example of strength and courage that I hope everyone remembers her for.

This is a lovely tribute Destiny, I know Ruby will be reading this wherever she may be. She really is an inspiration and I hope she knows now how important her life was and how much bravery she showed throughout. She's finally found her peace. Thank you for being such a great support to Ruby, words can't explain how grateful I am for you🙏

Aww thank you! I hope she knows and is able to see the kind words so many have written about her. I am positive though that she has found peace. This I do not question. I am grateful to have you as a new friend despite the tragedy that brought us together.

Hey I am glad you are back now on the site! Yes I meant every word of it. It's still hard to believe she's gone.
