Fingers Crossed
Take one black cat and two magpies
add three wishes
and a single four leaf clover ..
Then shake them all together and you
will have nought but
good luck over and over and over ..

Wishing you well too )
And lovely poem . Magpies in twos are supposed to be a sign of good luck .. I’ve seen them in twos several times . Some people say seeing a black cat is bad luck but I’m not sure I believe that ..
thanking you kindly Violet bluebell (used to be yellow rose) ... I always thought a black cat crossing in front of you was meant to be good luck too .......................................................................... 🙂
Or blood, feathers and a lot of swearing!
maybe one or two cuss words but nothing too heavy ............... cheers SC ...... N 🙂
Nice 👌
How kind of you .. thank you 0121_Pedro ........ N 🙂
Here's hoping the cat and magpies survive the shaking. Best wishes to you too N. 😊

very clever write, N. Hopefully it will bring me good luck today! C
I hope so too C ................. but in the meantime ... I thank you and truly .................. Neville
But not one magpie on its own? 'One for sorrow, two for joy.....'
Erm good wishes, maybe luck too, but I don't believe in it. lol.
You seen our black cat? Or the tabby one? We have two cats. Ahhh!
The black one said to me: 'Never mind if I cross your path or not for luck where's me grub?' A talking cat now! lol
keep taking them pills Mr. O and I suggest doubling up on the red, yellow and green ones before bed 🙂
Thank you. And all the very best of luck to you too Neville.
Now there are local witch doctors here (called bomoh) some of whom also practise black magic....
thank you Roz ...
when I worked/volunteered at Tanka Tanka psych hospital in Africa a few year ago we had a witch doctor visit three times each week & no kidding ... never once dared to ask his name tho'.....Neville 🙂
May that good luck be with us forever Neville.
Andy
Let's hope so .............................. cheers Andy
Neville
a good luck charm, in a poem
never occurred to me
to imbue something tangible
in my scribbles
(an 'omamori' in a poem)
as-ever
I read and learn, Hyung
thank you!
