Not everyone can understand the art you created
Not everyone can understand the pain you kept welded inside
Not everyone can understand your praises the same
But The Nobody can what The Everyone can't; understand

- Comment from author about the poem: This was inspired by a now recently deceased poet RubyRae. While I'm unfamiliar with the person, the struggle I'm not and it truly is awful how many of us are forced to bear such thoughts and how normalized it is as just a part of life. Recently a fusion poem had been created and I was invited to work on it, which I missed because of the long hiatus I've been taking form poem making. I felt awful for not joining in on such a special occasion, so I made my own.

And dear poet, you've truly done your part greatly. Although you didn't get to participate on the fusioned poem, you honestly spoke so much truth through your words. It can feel like nobody understands our pain, and everyone else is just ignorant. Hope this can arouse sympathy in people!

I think the way the site works, you probably read about twenty poets, though there's probably hundreds more you miss. I think the site should have put some sort of tribute up to, RubyRae, maybe a poem every day for a week.
It would be nice, but even that would likely be overcrowded. The only way to really get noticed on sites like this is to be searched for, and searched excessively.
